Terms and Ethics

Simple, fair terms. Use the tools, don't abuse the service.

Effective: January 2026 — Last updated: October 2026

What Stuxs.Tools is

Stuxs.Tools is a free, open-access collection of web utilities. All tools are provided as-is, for personal and professional use. No account is required. No payment is required. No data is collected beyond what's described in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

You may use Stuxs.Tools for any lawful purpose, including:

Personal productivity and everyday tasks
Professional and commercial work
Educational and research purposes
Development and testing

Prohibited use

You may not use Stuxs.Tools to:

Automate requests in a way that places unreasonable load on our servers
Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or crawl the service at scale
Use server-side tools to probe or attack systems you do not own or have permission to test
Circumvent rate limits or access controls
Violate the laws of your jurisdiction

Network diagnostic tools (DNS lookup, port checker, ping, etc.) are intended for use on systems you own or have explicit permission to test. Using them against systems you don't own may be unlawful.

Ethical use

Being lawful isn't always the same as being reasonable. Beyond the rules above, we ask that you use Stuxs.Tools with the same judgment you'd want others to use:

Don't use security or network tools (password generators, hash tools, port checkers, WHOIS/IP lookups) to harass, deanonymize, or gain unauthorized access to anyone
Don't use text, image, or generator tools to create fraudulent documents, impersonate someone, or produce content intended to deceive or harm
Respect the privacy of any third-party data you look up — just because a lookup tool can return information doesn't mean every use of it is appropriate
If a tool's output could affect someone else (a domain, a server, a person), get their consent before acting on it

No warranty

Stuxs.Tools is provided "as is" without any warranty of any kind. We make no guarantees about the accuracy of results, tool availability, or continued support for any specific feature. Use the results of our tools as a guide — always verify critical information from authoritative sources.

Availability

We aim to keep Stuxs.Tools running reliably, but we make no guarantees of uptime. Tools may be added, changed, or removed at any time. We'll do our best to communicate major changes in advance.

Rate limiting

Server-side tools are subject to rate limits per IP address to ensure fair access for all users. Repeated violations may result in temporary or permanent blocks.

Intellectual property

The Stuxs.Tools name, logo, and original code are the property of their respective owners. The tools themselves process your content — we make no claim to any data you input or output.

Links to other services

Stuxs.Tools links to Downl.one for media downloading functionality. That service operates under its own terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for the content or availability of external services.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. The date above will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of Stuxs.Tools means you accept the current terms.
